Name of the register

Applicant register of the Nitor Group Oy and its group companies.

Purpose of use of the register

The register is used for processing and retaining job applications in the recruitment processes of the company and its group companies.

Personal data is retained for two (2) years. The applicant can choose to give a consent for retaining the data for longer than two years.

Data to be registered

The following data of the applicants will be processed:

  • applicant’s basic information (name, contact information)

  • further information of the applicant, which is provided voluntarily and in free form (application, CV etc.)

Regular sources of data

The data recorded to the person register is regularly obtained by following ways:

  • the data to be registered is received from the data subject him/herself

  • at the job interviews

  • from the possible references provided by the applicant

Disclosure of the data

The data may be processed within the group companies to the extent the recruitment requires. The data will not be disclosed outside of the group companies.

Erasure and adapting of the data

The data may be erased and adapted upon the person’s request. The requests shall be sent to jobs@nitor.com.

Transfer of the data outside of the EU or the EEA

The data of the applicant is processed in an electronic Workable- service. The service is located or it retains the data within the EU and the EEA. The service is compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield arrangement. When sending the application, the applicant accepts the transfer of his/her personal data. The privacy clause of the service is available from here: www.workable.com/privacy-shield.

Protection of the register

Data in the electronic form are retained in databases, which are protected by technical and programmatic means for ensuring the information security. Only previously specified persons, who have been given a separately defined license, have the access to the data.

Person register for the trainings provided by the Nitor Group Oy and its group companies.

Purpose of use of the register

The register is used for processing and retaining course enrollments of the training activities of the company and its group companies.

The company may use software of an external service provider for receiving the course enrollments.

Data to be registered

The following data of the trainees will be processed:

  • name

  • contact information (phone number, email, address)

  • possible company information (employer)

  • billing address

Regular sources of the data

The data recorded to the person register is regularly obtained by following ways:

  • The data to be registered is received from the data subject him/herself

  • Other sources of data are used in accordance with law.

Disclosure of the data

The data from the person register may be disclosed only in the following cases:

  • data is disclosed to the licensor of the training program, Scaled Agile Inc., for the certifications and for creation of the experimental platform for training;

  • the employer of the data subject if the employer had paid the training;

  • otherwise, if needed, as the law provides.

Transfer of the data outside of the EU or the EEA

The data is disclosed outside of the EU or the EEA (Scaled Agile Inc.). The other service or software providers of the company may also be located or retain data outside of the EU or the EEA. In such cases, the company aims to ensure an adequate level of protection of the information security, as the law requires, by using EU standard clauses concerning transfer of the data to the third countries.

Name of the register

Person register for customers and marketing for the Nitor Group Oy and its group companies.

Purpose of use of the register

Personal data is processed on the basis of the company’s legitimate interests or in the case of persons independently indicating interesting in receiving information, consent given by the data subject. The register is used for processing, retaining and managing customer relationships (including potential customers) and partner relationships of the company and its group companies. The information is also used for marketing purposes, including targeted marketing, direct marketing and segmentation. Information can also be used for business planning and development, market research and measuring amounts of customers.

The company may use subcontractors for offering and delivering its services. In this case personal data can be transferred to subcontractors to the extent needed for service delivery.

The company may use software of an external service provider for customer and marketing communication.

The following data of the customers will be processed:

  • company data

  • contact information of the customer contact person: name, title, mail address, email, phone

  • customer relationship history

  • data related to customer communication and marketing

  • data related to customer satisfaction surveys

  • other data provided by customers

  • the data gathered during all the phases of a customer relationship: marketing, sales, contract signing, customer relationship management.

  • the data to be registered is received from the data subject him/herself, for example by indicating interest by signing up for a newsletter.

  • other sources of data are used in accordance with law.

The data will not be disclosed to third parties, unless required by legislation or regulations by authorities.

Nitor's generic rules for gift draws

Gift draw start and end dates

The start and end dates of a gift draw or other similar event will always be clearly stated in connection with the gift draw in question.

All persons living in Finland or Sweden can take part in the gift draw, excluding those Nitor employees who have participated in planning, preparing or carrying out the gift draw, as well as the family members of those employees.

Selection of winners and the time of selection

There will be a draw to decide the winner. All participants will be included. The draw will take place after the period for entering the prize draw has ended, and the date of the draw will be stated in connection with the prize draw in question. The winners will be contacted personally. If the prize draw winner cannot be reached within a week, Nitor has the right to select another winner.

Prizes

The prizes are stated in connection with the gift draw in question. The prize can never be converted into money or another item or event.

The organiser of the gift draw reserves the right to make changes if problems occur. The winner is responsible for all other potential costs related to accepting and carrying out their win.

Processing of personal data

Nitor processes the data of the participants in the gift draw in order to carry out the gift draw draw and give out the prize.

Responsibilities of the organiser of the gift draw and the participant

The organiser of the gift draw commits to paying the lottery tax for the prizes stated in these official rules. By participating in this gift draw, participants commit to following these gift draw rules.
